DAMON CRISWELL is a composer, music producer and pianist from Dallas, Texas. As a professional musician for 15 years, Damon has been active as a jazz keyboardist and he has written music for numerous films and music publishers nationally and internationally.

Joy of Christmas is his first Christmas CD release. Much like some of the intriguingly intimate music he has composed for film, Damon has arranged these beloved hymns and songs for your uplifting and peace throughout the Christmas season.

Damon is an alumnus of the University of North Texas where he studied piano with internationally acclaimed pianist Pamela Mia Paul. After college, he performed with the contemporary jazz group Fingerprints for several years, opening for The Rippingtons, Larry Carlton, Richard Elliot, Jonathan Butler and Tower of Power.

He has worked with countless professional musicians including members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Kiev Symphony Orchestra and the Nashville String Machine. On the Gospel music scene, Damon has recorded national artists Fred Hammond and the duo Anointed. Damon has also written the music for numerous film trailers such as "Eye See You" starring Sylvester Stallone, "Desert Saints" starring Kiefer Sutherland and "Harvard Man" starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. His music was also recently used on Saturday Night Live.
